    This is a rare handwritten note from the Tony Award winning DONNA MURPHY written on the "PASSION" Company stationery and sent on December 2nd, 1994 to a couple who had attended a performance of the musical earlier in the year ..... The Original Broadway production of the STEPHEN SONDHEIM and JAMES LAPINE musical "PASSION" opened May 9th, 1994 at the Plymouth Theatre in New York City and ran for 280 performances ..... The Tony Award winning "Best Musical" starred DONNA MURPHY (Tony Award) and JERE SHEA and featured MARIN MAZZIE, GREGG EDELMAN, TOM ALDREDGE, LINDA BALGORD, CRIS GROENENDAAL, WILLIAM PARRY, MATTHEW PORRETTA, FRANCIS RUIVIVAR, GEORGE DVORSKY, JULIE LAMBERT, MARCUS OLSON, JOHN LESLIE WOLFE, GIBBY BRAND, COLLEEN FITZPATRICK and FRANK LOMBARDI ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a clipped corner on the handwritten note and folds across the middle of both reviews, this set is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian.
