    This is a rare autographed Original Sound Track long play album from the Warner Bros. Pictures' film "GYPSY" which was a prize in the Curtiss Candy Company's Baby Ruth and Butterfinger "GYPSY JINGLE" contest. The prize album was signed by all three of the films stars,
    ROSALIND RUSSELL, NATALIE WOOD and KARL MALDEN (shown in the third and fourth scanned images) .....
    Based on the
    Original Broadway stage musical by ARTHUR LAURENTS, JULE STYNE and STEPHEN SONDHEIM, the film starred ROSALIND RUSSELL as "Mama Rose", the role originated by ETHEL MERMAN in the 1959 Broadway production, NATALIE WOOD as "Louise" and KARL MALDEN as "Herbie" and included PAUL WALLACE, SUZANNE CUPITO, ANN JILLIAN, DIANE PACE, BETTY BRUCE, FAITH DANE, ROXANNE ARLEN and HARVEY KORMAN ..... Note: This album was sent to one of the jingle contest's Third Prize winners and includes both the letter that accompanied the autographed soundtrack album (shown in the fifth scanned image) as well as the original cardboard mailing box (shown in the last scanned image) which was postmarked February 25th, 1963 in Chicago, Illinois ....     ..... DETAILS: This autographed Warner Bros. white label promo LP (#1480) comes with the original letter that accompanied the album ..... CONDITION: The album cover is in beautiful condition with no splits or edge wear. The vinyl record appears to have never been played and is still in the original inner sleeve. The letter from the Curtiss Candy Company does show moderate creasing and minor edge wear. This rare set will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or classic film historian. This set will be carefully packaged for safe transport.
