The troops of the 1st Belorussian Front, as a result of the rapid offensive of tank formations and infantry, today, January 20, captured the city of Wloclawek and Brzesc-Kujawski - large communications centers and strongholds of the German defense on the left bank of the Vistula. At the same time, the troops of the front, having crossed the Varta River, occupied the city of Kolo with a fight.
