Vintage Mink Double Strip Wm. Pinkus Stole. Versatility is an attractive feature, and having a double strip design lets the wearer arrange what is comfortable. This is a vintage Wm. Pinkus of San Francisco, purchased new in the 1960's. Careful review reveals there may have been crocheted cords along the width of the velvet lining, but as of today the crochet - covered metal rings and hooks only remain. For quality is important. This price is a natural mink, a color type ranch animal. The shade may be Palomino. Based on the pelt weight, we assign this as female. Both strips have delicate shading, and medium length guard hairs and lighter underfur. All appropriate for the stoles age and provenance. The two strips are sewn together.
